I like how the cowl is draped over the wide gold belt.
The print blocking is appealing in this silhouette

This look has the sash tied and draped over a wide belt;
so chic with the slenderizing silhouette.

Nice print mixing in the look! I luv the
cowl neckline, the tied waistline, and the
wrapped skirt.
The silver beads along the cowl are great, so cute;
it gives this look a touch of ethnic glamour!

I really like this silhouette; the high, round neckline and
below-the-hip length paired with gaucho pants
The sandals go well with the look
and are extra cute!

Long Sleeve Blouse | Wide Belt | Cropped Pant
The first look has great colors: blue, gold, & red.
In the second look I like the pairing off large earrings
with a wide neckline top.

Once again, draped top hanging over a wide belt: cute!
The colors are great: silver sparkle, peach, silver, & orange
This is a little unexpected; silver iridescent top
and a yellow midi skirt. This ruffle wrap skirt I really like.
The styling of it is so unique; one ruffle draped over the belt
The decorative silver beading compliments
the silverly tone of the top.

Draped Tunic | Cropped Pant
Luv this draped top look! So exotic & ethnic inspired!

These looks remind me of the Indian salwar kameez.
The embellishments on both of these pieces are nice.

Both looks have the beaded neckline that I like throughout
the collection. In the first look the cowl is draped over the
blazer (cute). The color blocking is nice. The second look
has that ethnic flair, I luv.

Favorite Pieces
-
What I like most about the pieces in these looks is, of course,
the embellished necklines!

Polka Dots & Shiny Spots! - I like a lot...

Cute top with matching pants.
This is a simple belted top in a nice fabric;
very wearable.

The flutter sleeves on the jumpsuit
are eye-catching!

The knotted front is in just the
right spot.

What I like is that this is
asymmetrical with a twist;
fabric is draped over the
other shoulder

The draping.

The neckline.

What I like about this collection is... everything!
Color, silhouette, print, accessories. This is so inspired and
inspiring! I always like ethnic influenced pieces and this has
that! This is why DVF is my fav designer! Luv the aesthetic!

Who's Spring 2013 RTW Collection I Like?: MARCHESA

MARCHESA

My Favorite Looks
_____________________________

These embellished looks are beautiful. The first look has beautiful
draping and gold and white are a classically gorgeous pairing.
The second look has the trendy crop top in lace and the
maxi skirt has the nice embellished waistline. The pink dress
really reminds me of the draping of a sari. Its so pretty!

        Blue & Gold | Purple & Gold
Beautiful Colors!
The asymmetric lines are great; it compliments the high-low hemline,
which is so popular in fashion right now.

The fabric and the draping: beautiful.
The draping in the first look is interesting and pink & orange
are nice together. The second look has nice asymmetric lines.
The pink color is gorgeous with the sheen of the fabric.

The sheer fabric over lace looks great. What I like about the first
look is that its asymmetric but it still covers the other shoulder.

Sheer fabric over lace again! The embellished
neckline is beautiful.

Gold & Orange
I really like this one because of the  necklace.

This blue hue is so pretty. The sheer mid-section
looks nice with the wide, square-ish neckline.

This is such a cute high-low top and skirt pairing.
What I really like about the pieces are the sparkly
gold trim along the hemlines.

Looks I Found Visually Appealing
Other Looks that Made this Collection Great!

I still like the tunic and pant style.

I like the deep purple color in the first look and the
softer lavender, bronze, and silver colors of the top.
The skirt in the second look has a nice border along
the hemline.

Purple & Gold | Red & Gold
The gold trim really highlights the ruffled hemlines.

Gold & Blue
The gold trim is lovely and so is the
asymmetric high-low hemline.

These are such costumes pieces!
It shows the fringe trend!

The accented hemlines are so South Asian influenced.
The colors are great together: Gold&White | Red&White.

Orange & Gold

~~~~~
This collection is clearly influenced by traditional Indian attire.
This is what I luv about this collection.
What I like about these looks are the lines that the belt and
purse straps create; it adds to this simple garments.
The black, gold, and orange are a great color combination,
as well as black, gold, and beige
These lace inset pants are great! They're different and appealing!
I like the tops from these looks too. Crop tops are really trendy
 and I personally like this collared shirt style. The studded
purse straps gives these looks visual interest.
I've seen lace inset shorts online both in retail and diys, so these
appealed to me because of popularity. I like this lace edged
crop top, it has that collar style I like. This lace inset blazer is
different! It draws attention to the waist line and hips. I feel
like it is giving the illusion of a more shapely figure.
I just really like this dress! Its a nice orange color, has flowy
bell sleeves, and doesn't have an annoying too low neckline.
I'd wear this as a tunic with jeans or leggings though (too
short for me). The silver belt turns this dress into a standout
piece. The shiny shimmer of the fringe compliments the
orange tints.
Shiny, silver fringe necklaces? LUV IT! Once again, simple pieces
transformed by accessories. The colors pop with the compliment of
the silver shimmers of the necklaces.
In the look to the left the necklace and belt creates a shiny,
fringe dress. (I imagine that these  would have to be detachable
items, because how would you wash it?) In the look to the right
I like the cold-shoulder sleeves.
Theses dresses look great with the stud strap accents and the fringe belts. I really
like the dress to the right; the cut out sides are now.
These dresses look like what the most work was put into. All
those studs have to be applied by hand. Gold and blue are
beautiful colors together.
I just like the colors of these dresses with the shiny fringe.
Orange | Pink
Whats so great about this collection are the accessories. The
belts, the purses, and the necklaces. These items really made
this collection shine, literally (shiny fringe & studs)!
MyDIY: Denim & Gold Duck Tape Wallet
diy, duct tape, crafts
Materials: Duct Tape  ▪ Scissors  ▪ Ruler  ▪ Pencil
Got inspired by my Pinterest pins.
Wallet Body
Step One a: cut 4 denim strips
1a: I measured the denim tape against a ruler (7 3/4 in.),
marked the measurement with a pencil, and then
cut the tape. Repeat three times to make 4 strips.
Step One b: cut 4 gold strips
1b: I cut the gold tape into 7 1/4 in. strips in the
same way that I cut the denim tape.
Repeat three times to make 4 strips.
Step One a & b: completed "fabric"
1a:overlapped the tape beside a ruler to measure 7in.
1b: You can trim the excess tape or just tape the rest down.
Step One c: trim and fold denim tape
1c: I marked with a pencil 3 1/2 in. from bottom and trimmed.
Then I folded the denim tape over the gold tape.
I folded the top untrimmed denim tape over the gold tape,
but cut it leaving the extra tape untapped.
Step One c: fold denim tape
1c: I then folded the extra tape to the inside of the wallet.
Step One c: fold denim tape
The inside of the wallet.
1c: The wallet body is complete!
Inside Pocket
Step Two a & b: cut 1 denim strip and 1 gold strip
2a&b: I cut these against the ruler like before.
Step Two c: pocket placed on wallet
2c: Trim if necessary.
Outside Pocket
Step Three a & b: cut 1 denim strip and 1 gold strip
3a&b: I cut these against the ruler like before.
Step Three c: assemble pocket
3c: I cut a small piece of tape to cover the raw edges.
Flap
Step Four c: assemble flap
4c: You're Finished!!!
Denim & Gold
crafts, diy, duck tape brand
I added a extra piece to hold the flap. The outside pocket can be used to hold the flap if you don't want to add this extra piece. Also, I rounded the corners of my flap and decorated it with a piece of gold tape.
Have fun, be creative and you can come up
with your own variation of this design or others; I did!!!
If anyone makes their own wallet, I'd luv to see it, you can post it on my Facebook Page (facebook.com/TamzLavenderDreamz)
STYLE: High-Low Tops & Tank Dress | HAIR: Flat Twists & Braids Adornment
LOOKS
Hi-Lo Tops and Tank Dress
Whats great about these looks is that it takes a basic article
of clothing [tank dress] and transforms it into a cute look!
The tank dress acts as a camisole and a skirt!
This is something I'd possibly wear!
HAIRSTYLE
This was an experimental hairstyle.
I wanted to create that mock braided headband look,
so I flat twisted my hair into these sections and made
two individual braids that I secured with  hair pins.
I then put the rest of my hair up into a small bun.
This simple style turned out pretty cute -and different!
Inspired by my Hair Inspiration pins.
