Miss Selfridge & Dorothy Perkins: Art Deco Looks

All of the pieces from these looks are from Dorothy Perkins & Miss Selfridge.

The crochet top gave me an art deco vibe (a trend I really like).
I found that matching this top with accessories that had 1920's & 30's influences made a perfect look!

The accessories makes this a casual look.
The arrow necklace mimics the zigzagging lines of the knit skirt; making your eyes dance from top to bottom. The bag and shoes do not match in color or material, but the decorative buckle straps ties them together. The feather earrings are light enough to balance that stand-out necklace while also matching the grey/brown/black color scheme.
This is an awesome, comfy, & carefree look for any casual occasion!

With the right accessories you can transform a look from dressy to casual!

The necklace and earrings are so art deco and are definitely more refined in details, making this a dressier look. The vertical lines of the earrings, necklace, and silhouette keeps the eyes moving up and down, giving the illusion of length to the body. The mustard colored accessories goes harmoniously with teal and brown; making this a stand-out look.

The vertical earrings and necklace mimics the appearance of length that the silhouette creates, while adding a harmonious variety of color to this look. The mustard, teal, and purple accessories creates a triadic color scheme (yellow-orange, blue-green, & red-violet). The eclectic shoulder bag has fun elements that tie into the brown/teal/mustard color scheme. This eclectic look is colorful and fun!

Which look is your favorite?
